The planned film In Plain Sight: Stories of Hope and Freedom is part of a campaign to help stop sex trafficking in the United States. It's set for release into stores and online by Word Entertainment on October 4, 2014.

The documentary is based on interviews of abolitionists, law enforcement officials, and survivors in aftercare homes in six cities -- Nashville, Baltimore, Sacramento, Little Rock, Houston, and Dallas.

Natalie Grant is the executive producer and narrator.

David Trotter, the co-executive producer, said "We don’t want you to walk away depressed and unmotivated. We want you to be inspired to take action based on the hope you’ve experienced.”

The executive producers raised $45,000 in 2013 for the film through crowdfunding via Indiegogo (a website similar to Kickstarter). They need $40,000 more to complete the film and launch the campaign. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made here.
