Grappling with corruption and business in Brazil

The World Bank is hosting a panel discussion on October 17 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Bank's HQ in Washington, D.C.

The featured speaker is Judge Fausto Martin De Sanctis of the Brazil Federal Court of Appeals.

He is, according to the World Bank, 'arguably one of the most famous Brazilian judges for his courageous fight against organized crime, corruption, tax evasion and money laundering.'

Also on the panel are Thomas P. O’Brien, the former U.S. Attorney of the Central District of California, the World Bank's Francesca Recanatini, Rodney Alves, who practices in Sao Paulo and Los Angeles, and moderator Mikhail Reider-Gordon from Navigant.
