Michael Ndichu Kuria is a contributing editor of the FCPA Blog.
His writing has appeared in the Daily Nation, East Africa's largest newspaper, allAfrica, and other publications.
He's a counter-fraud and counter-corruption consultant currently active in the East, Central and Horn of Africa regions. He conducts anti-bribery compliance reviews, forensic audits, fraud and misconduct investigations, integrity reviews, fraud risk management, procurement policy compliance reviews, and controls assessments. He has also designed and reviewed anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing systems for various public sector and private sector clients across the East African region.
In addition, he has worked with various regional law enforcement agencies and intelligence services in investigating economic crimes and tracing illicit assets. Michael is also trained in computer forensics and has helped some of the largest organisations in the region implement forensic technology solutions.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. He's a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Centre for Counter Fraud Studies (CCFS).
