Mark Friedman | Contributing Editor
Mark R. Friedman is a contributing editor of the FCPA Blog.
He writes about global corruption, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia and the perspectives of young people.
Mark is a U.S.-qualified attorney and a 2011 graduate of NYU Law. He practices criminal defense law and civil litigation, and is based in New York City. He was an intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan while in law school, and worked in Thailand previously.
Mark was an inaugural fellow of Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics. This program awards fellowships to students at professional schools (law, medicine, journalism and seminary) to travel to Germany and Poland to study the role of their chosen profession in the Nazi genocide, and how to apply these lessons to contemporary professional ethics.
Mark seeks to transition into FCPA compliance work, in the U.S. or abroad.
