Event: ICC International Integrity & Anti-Corruption Conference (December 8)

The International Chamber of Commerce is hosting its International Integrity & Anti-Corruption Conference on Friday, December 8 at the Peace Palace in The Hague.

It's part of the Netherlands’ Week of Integrity, a local initiative fostering public-private cooperation.

According to the organizers, "We live in a world where integrity isn’t talked about nearly enough."

Among others, the program includes:

Prof. Mark Pieth, Co-founder and director, Basel Institute on Governance (Switzerland)

Henk Broeders, Chairman ICC Netherlands

Emily O’Reilly, European Ombudsman

Jan Hommen, former CEO KPMG and former CEO ING Bank

Nick Hirons, Senior Vice President, Global Ethics and Compliance, GlaxoSmithKline (UK)

Iohann Le Frapper, Vice-chair, ICC Commission on CR & Anti-corruption and Group General Counsel, and

Richard Bistrong, Contributing Editor of the FCPA Blog and CEO Front-Line Anti-Bribery LLC.

The event will emphasize the importance of public-private cooperation and the "business case" for  integrity.
