Kaylee Rodgers sings ‘Hallelujah’

The Killard House Special School in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland has about 200 special needs students, most of them autistic.

This year for Christmas the school choir sang a version of Leonard Cohen’s "Hallelujah."

Singing out front was Kaylee Rodgers, 10, a local student from Donaghadee.

She has autism and ADHD.

She's usually quiet and shy. But a music teacher at Killard encouraged her to sing as a way to build her confidence, reports said.

The lyrics to this version of "Hallelujah" were penned by a Christian rock band called Cloverton in 2014.

The video was first shown to parents and friends of Killard House. Then it was posted to YouTube and Facebook.

It already has more than a million views. And people from Japan, Australia, the United States and elsewhere have called the school.

It's best viewed in full screen -- the kids in the background are also great.

I have now listened to this performance seven (7) times. It is the most amazing performance I have ever watched or heard. I may a tough as nails SOB. This little girl brought me to tears of joy each time I have listened to her performance. Someone above said "and a Child shall lead them". True words.
