Job: Full Professor for Collective, Compliance, and (private sector) Anti-Corruption (IACA - Near Vienna, Austria)

The International Anti-Corruption Academy, located just outside Vienna, Austria, is looking for a Full Professor for Collective Action, Compliance and (private sector) Anti-Corruption.  

The position offers a fixed-term appointment of two years with possible renewal.  

Within IACA’s organizational structure and following its international, interdisciplinary, inter- sectoral, integrative, and sustainable approach, the Full Professor co-develops and chairs the unit for collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti-corruption. He/she has an established and substantial record of research and teaching at the highest international standards and a demonstrated capacity and willingness for academic leadership at the institutional, national, and international level.

The main duties of the post are as follows:

- To further develop, lead, and contribute to the unit of collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti-corruption at IACA,

- To provide academic leadership in research and teaching in the field of collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti-corruption,

- To undertake original research leading to influential publications and substantial contributions in the field of collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti- corruption,

- To contribute to the overall development of IACA’s profile as a global centre of excellence for anti-corruption education, training, and research of the highest academic standard,

- To develop and implement academic and non-academic programmes and activities with a special focus on collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti- corruption,

- To serve as Programme Director of a new Master’s programme and to substantially contribute to its further development and implementation,

- To provide (strategic) policy advice on collective action, compliance, and (private sector) anti-corruption to relevant stakeholders,

- To contribute to the design and delivery of IACA’s academic degrees and its (executive) education programmes,

- To contribute to graduate teaching and academic supervision of students at IACA,

- To obtain research funding and explore opportunities for future funding,

- To undertake managerial, supervising, and administrative duties as required, and

- To participate in and contribute to IACA’s overall development.

The Full Professor for Collective Action, Compliance, and (private sector) Anti-Corruption holds a Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent qualification) in a job-related field such as economics, finance, (business) ethics, (business) law, management, or in another relevant law and/or social science field, preferably with a clear and strong focus on compliance and anti- corruption.
